Welcome to Arlington Beach’s Outdoor Education Program

Our Mission

This program exists to provide honor to our creator through environments and experiences where children of all ages can gain increased awareness of the restoration, protection and respect of the earth.

Located on the northeast shore of Last Mountain Lake, Arlington Beach is the ideal setting to expandArlington Beach your classroom studies with some experiential learning.  We are home to various ecosystems including marsh, priarie, pond, willow groves and beaver lodge and the diverse collection of animal and plant life that go along with each.

Our goal here at Arlington Beach is to turn the natural setting that surrounds us into a classroom like no other – a classroom without limits – and an exciting adventure in learning.

While we have strived to make curriculum links into such areas as science, practical and applied arts and physical education, the greatest benefit may be in the ability to target more of the less obvious curriculum goals and outcomes such as self esteem, confidence and responsibility.
