Ben and his family live in Regina, SK and attend the Northview Community Church. They have been involved at Arlington Beach for the last 10 years, and Ben has also served on the Family Camp Committee and volunteered with the middle school kids at Family Camp. His family has been loved, challenged, and grown at Arlington Beach and he is excited to see how God will continue to do that for others in the years to come.
Michele Morrison – Financial Representative
Michele Morrison is a member of Northview Community (Free Methodist) Church in Regina where she is involved in their finance ministry and served four terms as their Treasurer. Michele is a CA, CMA and has worked at SGI for 26 years where she is currently the Director of Salvage Admin & Finance. She and her husband, Larry, have two grown children. They enjoy being grandparents to four grandchildren, the oldest of which enjoys Arlington kids camps. Michele attends Family Camp as often as she can and is an Arlington cabin owner.
Kris Jan – Secretary
Kris is a husband to Shalene, and father to three boys, Lucas, Isaiah, and Micah. He was born in Regina and currently lives in White City. His family attends Northview Community Church in Regina, and he has been going there since he was 8 or 9 years old. Kris was a camper at Arlington as a kid, volunteered as an LIT, worked as summer staff and then as programming staff. He holds a master’s degree in education administration and is currently a grade 7/8 teacher with Regina Public, working at Jack MacKenzie school. He enjoys watching his kids play sports, coaching elementary volleyball, and playing ultimate frisbee.
Lorie Buffam
Lorie Buffam moved back to Saskatchewan three years ago after spending most of her life in British Columbia. After a career of ministry as a teacher, associate pastor and chaplain, she is enjoying her retirement years living at Arlington Beach where she has fond memories of inspiring camps and lake adventures that go back to her childhood.
Adam Kabernack
Arlington has been a part of Adam’s life since he first came as a camper when he was 8. He worked on summer staff for 5 years as a teenager. Shortly after he married his wife, they bought a cabin at Arlington and lived there year-round for over 3 years. He now lives with his wife and three daughters on an acreage east of Strasbourg.
Michelle Seale
Arlington has been a part of Michelle’s life since the age of 5, when her grandma started bringing her to Family Camp every year. She is honored to join the board, as she want to support Arlington to grow and thrive as a ministry to the public, and continue welcoming people to this beautiful, God-filled place.
Brenda Babich
Brenda Babich is a member of First Free Methodist Church in Moose Jaw. Recently retired from teaching in K-12 plus post secondary schools, Brenda chairs her local church board and serves on the Ministerial Education and Guidance board (MEGaP) for the Free Methodist Church in Canada. She and her husband Randy are cabin owners at Arlington, parents to two grown children and grandparents of four avid Arlington campers.
