I've been coming to Arlington Beach since I was 10 years old, and now I am a grandmother coming to Arlington with my grandchildren! It's a wonderful place for escaping from the city, exploring nature, building friendships, going for long walks, marveling at the beautiful sunsets over the lake, and having picnics and barbecues and family reunions. In the middle of everything, of course, I revel in taking the time and space for reflection and renewal. An increase in both physical and spiritual well-being is always the result of my Arlington visits. Arlington is a great tradition in our family for many good reasons.
We love camp because we have freedom, we see our friends and we get to eat ice cream everyday!
The Neufeld Kids
During the first summer that I was following Christ, I was given the opportunity to spend a lot of time at Arlington. It was definitely in this beautiful place where my faith began to take shape as God revealed himself and his love big time through the awesome wonders of his creation in nature, through many loving and welcoming people, during plenty of tranquil moments to reflect and pray, and through fun and amazing times sitting in with the kids camp evening chapel. I still feel so at home at Arlington... It has a piece of my heart for sure!
